EYEWEAR & SUNGLASSES CARE
1. Avoid Extreme Heat
Never leave your eyewear in high-temperature environments, such as inside a hot car during summer or in a sauna. Extreme heat can warp the frames and crack or delaminate the lens coatings.
2. Do Not Use Soap or Shampoo
Alkaline or chemical-heavy soaps and shampoos can degrade lens coatings. To clean, use only cold water and a mild, neutral dish soap.
3. Never Wipe with Clothing or Tissues
Wiping lenses with shirts or tissues while dust is present will cause micro-scratches. Always use a dedicated microfiber cleaning cloth.
4. Never Place Lenses Face Down
Resting your glasses with the lenses facing down will scratch the lens surface. Always fold the temples (arms) and place them face up.
SPORTS SUNGLASSES CARE
1. Rinse Sweat and Saltwater Immediately
Allowing sweat or saltwater residue to sit on your goggles after a workout can corrode the lenses and frames. Always rinse them under cool, running water immediately after use.
2. Pat Dry, Do Not Rub
Aggressively wiping wet lenses can cause surface scratches. Gently pat them dry with a soft microfiber cloth or allow them to air dry.
3. Keep Away from Sunscreen and Chemicals
Direct contact with sunscreen, makeup, or hairspray can cause frame discoloration or permanent staining. Wipe away any contact immediately.
4. Always Store in a Hard Case
Placing goggles loosely in a bag-even inside a soft pouch-can apply pressure that ruins the frame alignment. Always store them in a hard case when on the move.
